These classes are every Wednesday, unless otherwise noted.
What can you expect?
Our Practice classes are for Novice or Beginner Dogs.
Each week we will learn new skills during the run-throughs on the Barn Hunt course.
We strongly suggest either attending our Beginner Seminar or booking a private lesson with Leila prior to enrolling in our Practice Class.
What is a ‘Barn Hunt’?
Barn Hunt is an exciting, fun sport for you and your dog! This is a sport that requires no prior training or physical requirement.
In a Barn Hunt, there are plastic tubes hidden in a simple maze of straw bales containing live rates. The dog must find the tube containing the rat and alert the handler. In addition to finding the rat(s) other requirements include the dog must climb on top of a bale with all four feet and go through a tunnel in a specified time.
